Greg was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is a graduate of Shady Side Academy. After graduation from Princeton University, he worked for the Marriott Corporation in Philadelphia. After 2 years on the wrong side of Pennsylvania, he returned to Pittsburgh, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1989. After 17 years with the downtown Pittsburgh law firm of Brennan, Robins & Daley, P.C., he formed Gerlach Law Center, P.C. in 2019. He is a Past Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association Real Property Section. He is also a licensed resident title agent in Pennsylvania for Ally Settlement Co. and Red Bird Settlement Co., and a licensed real estate broker. He is Broker of Record for Jeffrey Costa Select Realty, LLC.
Outside of work Greg stays active in the community. He is a former member of the Advisory Board at The Campus School of Carlow University, the 50th anniversary committee, and the Founders Legacy Committee. At Shady Side Academy, Greg was Chair of the Annual Fund, a member of the Alumni Council, a Blue and Gold Fund volunteer, and an Admissions Ambassador. Greg is also a past Chair of the Alumni Schools Committee for the Princeton Alumni Association of Western Pennsylvania, which conducts alumni admissions interviews for Princeton University.
Harvey Robins is Of Counsel with Gerlach Law Center, P.C. He is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, and law school at the University of Miami. He was a founding partner of Brennan, Robins & Daley, P.C., where he practiced law for more than 60 years. He is a past Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association Real Property Section.
His primary practice focuses on all aspects of real estate law, including purchase and sales, leasing, and tax assessment. He is a "best lawyer" for condemnation law. Harvey is a pioneer of real estate tax assessment in Allegheny County, where he has represented owners of hotels, office buildings, rental properties, golf courses and homeowners in all aspects of real estate tax assessment law. He is also a licensed resident title agent in Pennsylvania.
